I’m a girl and thank you. Well, it sure will take a lot of time till I can release the final version, I’m not even satisfied with the stuff I have right now… It’s kinda hard to explain, I started the whole thing with no knowledge of flash at all, and now that I got more experience with it I have the wish to redo everything because I could do it better now… Thats why I stopped working on the game itself and continued my study about flash. See, I want to do this as perfect as possible, thats just the way I am…It will take some time, but the result will be (hopefully) satisfying for everyone. You also have to consider that I’m working on this all by myself, I sure could do it faster with some help, but I don’t know anyone who could help me with this project.
Q:When are you planning on releasing the pre-beta? We havent heard from you in so long :'(((

I know, but all I do is pretty much still learning how to do different kind of stuff in flash. And yet I still have no idea how to apply a color chooser… I guess I’ll leave that for now and just make a beta version with a few colors as option.
Q:The little flash updates are pretty cool! great job so far!! In the pre-beta, will there be mouths? and could you please put in preset colors? :)
The pre-beta will have anything (mouths,hair,spikes etc.) except the colors.
See, the colors are still a big problem, I could do an option where you can choose between 3-6 default colors, but even that would took me a long time.
Besides, I’m not a fan of default colors… Color sliders would be much better and I try my best to reach that goal!
I uploaded yesterday a pretty crappy test animation of my progress with flash itself, but today I can show you the actual progress with the creator!

Well, problem is the space here, next thing I’ll do is trying to add menus.
This will be the last update for now. Next thing I will upload is the “pre-beta” version (pretty much a beta version without the color option).
So yeah, it’s time for a little update.
I’ve tested various things with flash today and the most stuff worked just fine. The only problem is about the size of the whole thing… I thought it would be easier to work with the original size of my base, so when resizing it, the quality would still be okay. Well, it seems that flash won’t let me resize the whole document at once. Which means I have to start over and change the size before importing my images. Thats really annoying and I hope I still can make it look decent enough…

You can change the hair style with those two buttons beneath the hair sign and change the eye type by clicking either “eyes A” or “eyes B”. You can also change the position of the eyes by dragging them around.
As you can see, it’s way too big to use it properly and the site didn’t resize it either…
And please remember, this is NOT a beta version, it’s just a little thing where I tested some stuff and I only post it because I want to share my progress here.
Q:You don't necessarily have to redraw everything in Flash! There's a way to convert your images to Flash vectors. Oh man, I hope this message isn't too late.
It’s not too late, still trying my best to understand the color sliders, the images aren’t my biggest problem right now.
But really? I didn’t knew this was possible, how does it work?

No, not really.
I could publish a really simple beta version soon, but I guess it will be better to wait till I can add more features. See, I wouldn’t be able to add any color sliders or accessories in the simple beta version and I really want at least the color sliders in the beta version.
Q:How often do you plan to post an update on the creator? Could you try to do one every other day or at the least every three days, even if the update is only a sentence or two? I really wanna know how it's going and looking!! Great job so far!

I would love to do daily updates, but there isn’t much to update right now.
All I do at the moment is reading tons of stuff about flash, I really have a lot to learn to make everything as good as possible.
But well, if you want to know whats on my mind right now: I have a huge problems with colors, I still have no idea how to do those sliders and how to apply them on imported images properly…
I’m afraid that I will reach a point where it is simply impossible to work with imported images any further, at this point my only option is re-doing the whole thing in flash…
So yeah, all I do is learning more and more about flash at this point, and as soon as I made some visible progress I will update it here.
Q:About how many questions do you get daily/ weekly?

Phew, that really depends.
Some days I don’t get any questions at all and then again they’re days with 4 questions at once.
I guess I get something around 1-6 questions per week
